This song came on and I had to stop eating to sing it. Like no joke, I stopped consuming food for this song.... to sing it.

It is quite literally our life. OURS. Nobody else. You are able to recreate and become a new person at any point, if you are willing to put in the HARD work. Will it be hard? Fuck yeah, it will be. Everything in life is perceived as 'hard' is it not?
You getting up every morning to a job you hate is difficult.
You going through the motions of everyday and staying unconscious is wildly soul deflating.
I would know. I've been there. I worked for Amazon for almost 7.5 years. I was in various jobs across the company and sometimes I look back on that time in my life and wonder why I ever made the moves I did within Amazon. It all led me to myself though at the end of the day.
When I was working HR I was pushed to my limits day after day, getting yelled at by associates and receiving general mistreatment from everyone in the building. Want to know what's funny?
I quit and then went back a few months later to the warehouse of my origin and those same people who treated me like absolute dog shit couldn't even look at me. I had transformed that much. They couldn't bully me anymore, I had stepped into my power.
Quitting and FOLLOWING my dreams, no matter how precarious, has shown me ME. I wouldn't trade that for the world.
You shouldn't either, brave soldier.
Also... I was told once that fear is just excitement. That changed everything for me. Thank you to the person who told me that, you transformed how I show up in the world. Hopefully that one sentence changes something for YOU too.
